Cascade Games is looking to hire additional personnel for work on upcoming projects for the Star Wars™: Unlimited Judge Program. These are project-based positions.
Compensation and Benefits
For all roles:
- $19-25 per hour, based on experience

For Subject Matter Expert and Content Creator:
- Reimbursed travel and entry to major events and conventions, based on role and need

Subject Matter Expert
As a Subject Matter Expert, you’ll help shape the foundational elements of the Judge Program and related projects and guide their continued growth.
Requirements
- Certified SWU Level 1 Judge (Level 2 preferred, not required)
- Available 5–20 hours per week
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with the program director to develop judge levels and advancement systems
- Contribute to writing and reviewing lessons, exams, and articles
- Serve as a public representative of Cascade Games:
- Participate in live broadcasts
- Help host judge meetups at major events
- Assist with moderation in the Judge Community Discord
- Assist with Unspecified Duties as needed
Content Creator
As a Content Creator, you’ll refine the look and feel of our digital materials while helping shape the program’s voice and visual identity.
Requirements
- Certified SWU Apprentice Judge (Level 1 or 2 preferred, not required)
- Available 5–20 hours per week
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Proven graphic design and video editing experience
Responsibilities
- Improve the visual design and usability of our materials:
- Enhance the Nexus website
- Polish presentation decks and lesson visuals
- Create custom graphics and layouts for judge education and announcements
- Collaborate on lesson, article, and exam development
- Represent Cascade Games in public-facing roles:
- Participate in live broadcasts
- Help host judge meetups at major events
- Assist with moderation in the Judge Community Discord
- Assist with Unspecified Duties as needed
Exam Localization
The SWU Judge Program is committed to being a global initiative. Translating certification exams into supported languages is a top priority, ensuring that judges worldwide can certify in their native language.
Requirements
- Certified SWU Apprentice Judge (Level 1 or 2 preferred, not required)
- Technical fluency in French, German, Italian, or Spanish
Responsibilities
- Translate approximately 300 questions and 1,200 answer choices across the Apprentice, Level 1, and Level 2 exams
- Ensure translations are clear, accurate, and aligned with the tone and terminology of the program
- Assist with Unspecified Duties as needed
Note: Translation of educational lessons will follow, but is not currently time-sensitive. Official documentation from FFG in multiple languages can supplement study in the meantime.
