Initial Wave Judge Promos

Hey folks! We have an exciting announcement for you today!

We are bringing the Star Wars Unlimited judge community a series of promotional cards that will be available as a celebration of the Judge program. They come in a new frame, are of very limited quantity, are all Premier format all-stars, and have been burning a metaphorical hole in my computer as we’ve had to wait to share them with you all.

For those who want only the summary, here’s a brief overview of who and how to get them, with clarification on all these points following.

Availability

Delayed Shipment Bonus - Judge Shirts

When we announced the availability of Judge shirts, we were overwhelmed by the enthusiasm, which led to a significant delay for those who had to both wait to be able to order shirts and for them to arrive. For this specific scenario, with no promises for the future, Tim wanted to apologize and, at the same go, share the awesomeness of these cards. So we decided to randomly include one promo with each order! This is only for that second, delayed wave. This is also a thank you to those who have supported us here at Cascade.

Merch Kits

As these are Judge promos, they need to be available to Judges, and so they are! Shortly after Level One testing is available, three new items will be available to purchase for judges who hold an L1 certification: a token set and two merch kits. Due to shipping logistics, we can only deliver these orders to the United States, Canada, and Europe, but we encourage you to coordinate with your fellow judges in the Discord to concoct a way to get them to you if you live outside these regions. As always, we’re working on expanding or distribution and logistics network, to be able to provide these to a wider audience. For each of these items, there will be a three unit maximum, meaning you can get three token sets, three of merch kit A, and three of merch kit B at the most.

These tokens feature shield counters on one side and experience (+1/+1) counters on the other. There are six tokens in a set, and we have a limited supply of 100 sets. This is because each one has been crafted by a member of our community, Eric Bess. Huge thank you to them! If you have the skills and vision to create something cool that the community would like to see, shoot an email to Tim@CascadeGames.com. We’re looking for products that are useful, avoid licensing issues, and are exciting!

The two merch kits are composed of Gamegenic accessories and promos to fit the themes of Heroism and Villainy. We can’t give you too much more information at the moment, but I know I’ll be using them when I head out to play. We weren’t able to have Star Wars graphics on these products this time, but we will have options with images available in the future! We’re always looking to improve and progress towards the best a program can offer. There will be 250 Heroic kits and 350 Villainy kits available.

Select Judge Meetups

Lastly, select judge meetups will continue to have promos available, Luke and Vader to continue for now, but we’ll transition to the new ones once they run out. We’re always looking for great events to attend outside of the United States. We hope to make Essen and the UK Games Expo in the future, but if you have recommendations of large events where we can have a significant meet-up, reach out to Tim@CascadeGames.com.
